St. Luke's is excited to add a leadership component for our teens and youth leaders in advance of the super cool annual summer VBS camp.

Our VBS Director, Melissa Creighton, describes the new leadership camp program:

"St. Luke's Leadership Camp is a program geared for High School and College Aged Youth in our community.  It will focus the teen age group--an age where many are falling away from church, yet ironically, a time where you are making some of the biggest life decisions and need God's guidance the most.  Activities and seminars include team building, leadership, faith building and life skills sessions.

In addition to our St. Luke's Youth, we will be reaching out to the community in a few ways, including local high school guidance departments and teens who have helped with St. Luke's Vacation Bible School in previous years.  The program will run July 23rd-27th, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., snacks provided (teens will bring their own lunch).

During the program, teens will also be involved with the Church Mission project of assisting and running our St. Luke's Vacation Bible School and conclude with a BBQ Celebration, Bonfire and Lock-in Sleepover at Church.  Celebration Sunday Service will be run by our teens and college age youth."
